GTA VI release date and official extended look
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games also published an extended look captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5.

Edition and pre-order details
Rockstar lists Standard and Ultimate editions. Eligible digital purchases before November 20, 2026 include the Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+. Digital pre-loading starts at local midnight on November 12, 2026.
The physical Standard package contains a digital download code rather than a game disc. Rockstar says a physical Ultimate Edition is not available, although Standard Edition owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately through their console store.
What happened in the Cyberleek GTA VI incident?
During August 2026, an anonymous person or group using the Cyberleek name circulated purported GTA VI gameplay clips and map material. Axios reported that Rockstar had not authenticated every circulating clip at the time, while copyright removals and later reporting increased confidence that at least some footage was genuine.
On August 26, Rockstar publicly acknowledged that GTA VI gameplay videos had leaked. The company described the incident as heartbreaking for its team and asked players to wait for the official experience. This article uses Rockstar's official screenshots and extended look only.
Tom's Hardware, citing on-chain reporting and community wallet analysis, later reported that the operators promoted a Solana memecoin alongside the leaks and exited positions worth an estimated total near $250,000. That financial figure is third-party reporting, not a law-enforcement finding, and the identity and full access claims of Cyberleek remain unverified publicly.
Security warning: avoid leaked downloads
